Hull Mold Mark
One aspect of the CR-914 you will first have to address is the Hull mold mark. This Mark is a product of the hull mold that produces the one piece Hull/Deck.
There are two solutions to
fixing this mark. Take your time, rough sand the area and don't forget to wipe with alcohol to remove any mold release or oil on the hull. Mask the deck and prime the entire hul. Sand and then paint the hull with a HARD paint. I use an Epoxy paint, Hobby Poxy or Polypoxy a marine paint by Pettit, but Automotive Enamel is also a good solution. Note: This flaw is different on every boat. Ranging from very slight to quite large but does not weaken the hull in anyway, it is just a bit of a pain in the neck to repair
